Leaders, please check-in at the office located in the old schoolhouse (Maclean Hall, Lane 7098) to pick up your keys and information package.
Check-in/Checkout Time **
Standard check-in time is 7pm and check-out is 2pm. Depending on other bookings before and after your event, it may be possible to adjust those times. Should you require a change in the standard check-in or check-out time an additional Day Rate may be applied.
**The Pines and Hermitage standard check-in time is 4pm and checkout is 1pm.
Please drop your key in the office. If the office is closed, drop your keys and Survey in the key drop to the left of the office entry door.
We accept cash, cheque, debit, credit cards or e-transfer.
Should you need to cancel your reservation, 6 months or longer prior to your scheduled event, the deposit, less a 15% administrative fee, is refundable. For cancellations less than 6 months, the deposit, which is non-transferable, will be refunded ONLY if a replacement booking can be arranged, less the 15% administration fee.
Wifi is available in most Crieff Hills buildings with the exception of Dove, Ruth and Shepherd.
Crieff Hills does not provide guest laundry facilities.
Please call or email at least five days in advance or as soon as you are aware of any needed changes. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Service animals are always welcome at Crieff Hills. All other dogs are welcome on the property but must be registered at the office. They must also be leashed at all times and never left unattended. Owners are expected to clean up after their pet while on the property. Arrangements for overnight pet accommodation may be made in designated spaces when available. Any damage caused by pets is the full responsibility of the owner.
Tobacco, ritual herbs, prescription drugs and over-the-counter drugs including medical cannabis are permitted on site and may be consumed by guests in a safe and responsible manner. Smoking, incense or diffusers are permitted in the designated outdoor area(s) only. Smoking, incense or diffusers are never permitted inside any building on the property.
A First Aid Kit & Defibrillator are accessible 24 hours a day in the entrance foyer to the office at Maclean Hall.
Screens are mounted in most buildings. There is a built in sound system in the upper conference hall. This is configured for speaking and not appropriate for musical instruments. Flip charts and paper are available at a small rental charge. A projector may also be available to rent. Please request these items at time of booking.
All guests who stay in the lodges (Matthew, Mark and Luke) are offered meals in Maclean Hall.
The retreat houses (Pines, Robert Yeats, the Hermitage, Dove, Shepherd, Ruth) have full kitchens for you to prepare your own meals or may book meals in Maclean Hall if they prefer.
Day groups may book lunch in Maclean Hall, and may request coffee or refreshment breaks delivered to their meeting space as well.
Yes. Special diet requests are welcome at no additional cost but must be booked 7 days advance. Unfortunately, we are not a nut-free facility.
Crieff Hills honey is available for sale in the office at Maclean Hall during regular business hours. Also available are honey soap, lip balm and bug repellant!
Alcohol is allowed on site and may be consumed by guests in a safe and responsible manner within each retreat building. Alcohol is not permitted elsewhere on the grounds without the explicit permission of the Director. Guests are responsible for obtaining and complying with the conditions of a liquor license if required for large events or events that involve the sale of alcohol.

Knox Presbyterian Church, Crieff: Services are held at 10am on Sunday mornings, and it is within walking distance to Crieff Hills
Mount Carmel-Zion United Church: Just up highway 6 in Morriston, they hold services at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings
Ellis Chapel: this provincial historic site hosts services once a month during the summer
